        The Honey and the Bee is located in the authentic South Island rural town of Fairlie. The owner operated store is beautifully laid out and had a well thought out range of honey & bee related products - it even has a live, glass enclosed, beehive where you can watch the fascinating activity of a bee colony in real time (and search for the elusive queen bee). Recommended if you're passing through Fairlie.

        Gorgeous store run by a very welcoming and personable owner. Some great quality products - honeys, teas, pollen, wax, beeswax food wraps etc. Glad we stopped in.
