A Chinese/Korean face lady who is tall with big face had attitude problem. She shouldnt be working there. A person with attitude shouldnt work as a sales person. I cant remember her name but next time will notice for sure.

Asking too many questions, and personally, this is not their business, for what? Targeting? very annoying, I said I already have 2 rings, and they asked: do u want another one? Excuse me? Hallo? Well, I answered always something new for the girl. They just walked away. Just lose the shopping emotional.

Horrible service, was in with my partner buying a bracelet as a gift for my birthday. The sales lady was mean and condescending to my partner. And the bracelet has now broken, les than 6 months after purchasing it. Will never ever buy from MH again. And will be glad never to have to deal with their pushy and rude sales people ever again :(

If I could give Michael Hill negative stars I would, this experience happened quite some time ago and by the look of the reviews it sounds like its pretty common, I came in with a mate who was there to buy a gift for his girlfriend and while he was looking I started chatting with one of the male salesmen that was working, this salesman in particular was the only good thing about the experience, I was considering getting a basic silver chain around the 300-500 price point and he was very accomodating showing me exactly what I was looking for until I had narrowed it down to a choice between two, as I was chatting to my mate and making up my mind on which chain to get a female salesperson comes up behind me and puts a massive gold chain around my neck and starts telling me how good it looks on me, I humour her and say it looks expensive to which she says not really. When I ask about the price she tells me $4000. I say Im not interested and she then asks how much I can afford per week then recommends I get it on finance because it will help my credit score, at this point I start to ignore this crazy lady and she realises she will not be able to drain my bank account so she leaves me alone, I did end up buying the silver chain from the male salesperson because he was chill but I think his sales style is the exception not the norm there. All in all I find the customer service experience at Michael Hill extremely predatory and manipulative and feel sorry for anyone who makes the mistake of shopping for an engagement ring there as Im sure these aggressive sales techniques get taken to a whole new level in that scenario. As for the staff I imagine its not entirely their fault and they are likely pushed to use these predatory sales tactics by out of touch management with unrealistic expectations. To summarise avoid this place like the plague. Cheers!

Salesperson, very very pushy that is why I avoid going in. I don't know why they keep that person, she is not selling fish at the market, she is selling jewelry.
