What a wonderful place! I had huge problems with an overseas phone and I'd taken it to three different Spark shops without success. The friendly man at Omni Tech said, "No trouble at all," and fixed it in 30 seconds. Full marks.

Dear Sir / Madame, On Saturday 11 December 2021, at 10:25 AM I picked up my brand new (in box) Apple Watch 7 Series from DHL Express, Christchurch. As I had waited for this birthday gift for several weeks, the first thing I decided to do is get a screen protector to prevent any damage to it. We enquired at RiccartonCHC OmniTech around 12:10 PM the same day, whether they install screen protectors. One of the two men running the shop said they did, after which my partner and I decided to collect the watch from the car. Again, the watch was brand new, and my partner and I only inspected it before handing it over to the staff at OmniTech. The watch was not used nor worn before requesting the service. One of the two employees told us that that the process to install the screen protection would take 10 minutes, and we decided to wait for it. His colleague then started the work, but after 10 minutes he had not finished. After 20 minutes it became obvious that they were having some difficulties getting the job done, as they had now both worked on the watch in turns. We did not understand what the hold-up was, because they were communicating in their native language. Also, we did not monitor the whole process closely. We did not think of it much and waited patiently close to the shop. After approx. 30 minutes they had finally finished the job and called me to collect the watch, after which I noticed damage had been done to the watch. On the side of the watch, there were several scratches that had not been there before the work. I confronted the two men with this, upon which they said they did not know what had caused the damage. A 5-minute tense discussion between my partner, myself and the shop employees followed but they insisted they had not caused the damage. As the watch was new, we are sure the damage was caused during the service. The employees were both using different tools and wearing rings on their fingers while doing the job. While they struggled to get the job done, we noticed that they were trying several things and were applying what seemed to us, a lot of pressure to the watch. Damage easily have happened during this process.

Took phone for new screen. Was asked to come back 2 times as not ready after the 2 hour time initially requested. Got home, no sim card! Returned following day, sim card replaced. Got home, unable to connect to internet. Took phone back again, phones location had been reset hence unable to connect. Fixed finally. Over the 48 hour period without call ability had 2 urgent matters occur where I was unable to be contacted. Come on guys surely replacing a sim and ensuring phone is reset correctly is not too much to ask.
