Mt Cook Ski Planes & Helicopters

An experience of a lifetime especially landing on the mountain escarpment by helicopter and returning by ski-plane. A big 10 out of ten.

It would be one of the best experience in your life and in new zealand. I wanna wegley hike also for next time if weather allow me. Heli hike was so perfect than i thought. Thank you so much for our guide Paul that was last work for heli hike. Take care Paul ^^

I am a pilot from the US and I have always wanted to land on skies on a glacier. Today I did that! Murray, our pilot was fabulous, the plane is a work of art and engineering, the scenery was beyond description and the flight to and from was incredible. Maybe, just maybe my best flight ever!

Great experience. The flights are split up between either the helicopter or ski plane. We had the helicopter first and landed on the glacier and had a few minutes by ourselves before the ski plane landed, which watching that was an experience in itself. Then we took off of the glacier in the ski plane. All very cool. Leave some flexibility in your schedule though as our original flight was rained out and rescheduled to the following day. Lovely time and friendly staff.
