        We stayed at Beech cottage And it was spacious,bright and airy, and lovely grounds and parking. A glimpse of the lake and close to town. Having a washing machine was great having been on the road for a few days. On the downside, the decor and furniture were very tired. The main sofa was very stained and the leather sofa had little leather left on it. The carpets were also stained in places. The washing machine, cooker and dishwasher were functional but need replacing due to age. The mattress in the main bedroom was very uncomfortable and the duvet beneath didn't improve it. As is, we believe it was overpriced, however, with updating will be a lovely place to stay.
