I loved the whole experience. Emily was the best pilot and I couldve stayed up there in the sky for hours. SO FUN. Do it if you can! Thank you!!

This is an amazing experience. We were meant to do a boat trip but it got cancelled and this was so much better! The plane on its own is an experience, the pilot was great and so friendly. She spent time making sure everyone was happy with what they saw and we had a great time. I would just recommend a travel sickness tablet before because I felt quite nauseous with the tight turns.

(Translated by Google) Pilot very friendly. Premises are very nice. However, everything is paid for with the blood toll of the unsuspecting tourists. We didn't see any whales after 2 days of waiting and 40 minutes of strenuous flight over nothing but water. After requests for a discount on free flights the next day, we were denied any accommodations. Quote: "Why should we even give you a $1 discount, someone could come through the door at any time and pay the full price - then I'm doing a bad deal". The owner of the shop, who could be the bad guy from 101 Dalmatians, treated us as if we were godless vagabonds who wanted to get rich off her. Several times during our conversation we convicted her of outright lying (about her selling prices) and she just gave us a condescending smile. Nobody needs this woman and this company. Next door at Air Kaikoura they treat you a lot nicer. In addition, the profits from the flights flow into the training of other pilots, since it is a non-profit association. Wings over Whales is a profit-driven company. Here, every euro flows into the fur-wearing owner's new Benz. (Original) Pilot sehr freundlich.

The team at Wings Over Whales got our group out to witness an amazing big pod of Antarctic Ross Sea Orca travelling past just offshore from Kaikoura, which was extra special to see as they have not been known to be seen in these waters! With avid photographers and expedition guides onboard, our pilot Emily did a phenomenal job of making sure everyone onboard got to see these amazing creatures steaming north. The weather conditions on the day were quite windy but Emily piloted the plane with so much skill and ease, we never felt uncomfortable once. Huge kudos to Emily and the team for sharing the incredible wildlife that only a plane or helicopter flight could deliver. Thanks team!
