We had a very sick cat in our garden - we rang the SPCA who said they would have a vet to us within the hour - the man who is an animal lover went and lay down next to the cat and just talked to him till he stopped hissing - the SPCA rang back after the hour and said they couldn't help us after all - the man scooped the cat up because it now trusted him and we took it into the after hours vet in Disraeli street who were absolutely wonderful - will never donate to the SPCA again
