Maybe this will raise an eyebrow in the office? After being let down by AA Plus, Parks Towing managed to put the icing on the cake. 1. We're told the car would be back in town on Friday. 2. Called on Friday for an update. They couldn't find our car, turned out it was still 350km away as they never picked it up. 3. Promised it was being picked up over the weekend and being dropped at our mechanics Monday morning. When car was a no show I contacted them yet again and to be told there was a hold up and on the way back that day to be dropped at the mechanics. 3. Imagine our shock when at 5pm on Monday night they were trying to drop it our place which is just round the corner from the mechanics. I was promised it was staying on the truck overnight and dropped off the next morning at 6am. I was told I never provided an address for drop off. It was in a text, also verbal and taped to the car dashboard. 4. It was never dropped off till after lunch on the Thursday! I have emailed asked for an explanation with no reply. I have also attempted to contact them via Facebook with no reply. For a company that has been in the business for 95 years the service we received was absolutely appalling. Their lack of communication and service resulted in me having to cancel my leave. I would never recommend Parks to anyone and if I was in a situation again that forced me to use them then I would be making sure they got phone calls at least 3 times a day for updates as obviously they don't know how to communicate with their customers or just put it in the too hard basket.
