The people who live there are just wonderful! They were friendly without being intrusive and gave is lots of helpul advise on where to eat and what to do while we were in the area. The gardens we're beautiful and the cottage was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast though was the real star of the show. It was the best I have ever had while traveling! Everything was really spectacular, I would definitely stay there again.

Rippinvale is run to perfection and nothing is too much trouble for Helen and John. Immaculate grounds that cry 'Peace and relax', when you arrive. The uniqueness comes from the fact that you have your own spacious 'apartment' and while attached to the house, it is totally separate. Even more unique is the fact that a substantial and gourmet homemade breakfast is delivered to your room at 9am. The previous night, delightful canapes and a glass of something special is delivered by Helen and while you are away for dinner in the town, the next morning's breakfast hardware is laid out and a carafe of port waiting for your return from dinner. Like I say, unique. There is an alpine hot tub in the garden (never did get to try it out) as well as a summer (grass) tennis court and a Petanque rink. This is the very best in B&B living. While pricey, it is worth every penny for that special treat.
