Up The Garden Path

Having read all of the negative reviews I wanted to add mine. I went to the store with my 4 year old and the lovely young lady behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. Clearly the staff have changed! Some lovely products here, I purchased some gorgeous glasses.

Great wee shop, Ive been many times and never had any problems except for the gift wrapping which would use a bit of work. Love the products.

Last weekend my partner and I spent the weekend in Hanmer. We had a look around this shop and found a couple of things we loved but couldn't bring ourselves to buy just yet. The following weekend we decided we couldn't stop thinking about them and that we would make a special trip back to Hanmer from Christchurch just to purchase them. We went up on Sunday 20 March and was greeted by a not so pleasant lady (I can see from the reviews that this is a common theme). We mentioned to her the 2 things we wanted to buy to which she said she would go and grab the boxed up ones from out the back. When she came back, the colour of one of the things we wanted to purchase was wrong and when we mentioned the one we actually wanted she rolled her eyes and said she will serve the others first. We waited for about 10/15 minutes while she served others and we continued listening to her attitude. If we hadn't had made a special trip to Hanmer just to purchase these items then we would have just walked out.
