Worst company ever. Campervans are not in a good condition, even dangerous to drive. We had a breakdown on a bank holiday, they don't pick up the phone on bank holidays. We were stuck with no van for two days, we only claimed one dinner and one brunch for the two days and they only wanted to pay one of them (the cheapest, of course). They gave us another campervan, wheels needed to be replaced, dangerous driving. They are crooked. Don't rent with them if you want a safe and nice trip.

Booked a 4 berth with shower and toilet and had no issues. Customer service was good. Supplied plenty of linen. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy. Winebago was old compared to other companies but the price was drastically cheaper too. Would recommend and book again

We found Kiwi Campers very helpful with regards to ferry problems. They were clear and communication was very good. They obviously work very hard to help customers and keep things running smoothly. The only downsides we found were the vehicles themselves. Both of the ones we hired were very much need of an overhaul. We listed the issues to the team when returning the van and they wavered the diesel tax. All in all a good experience but please sort the vehicles out!

Had an amazing experience in one of the happy black sheep I rented from happy campers! Managed to drive ~12000 kilometers without any issues! What you get for the price you pay when renting the happy black sheep is such good value I feel. Don't know where all the negative reviews come from, but it likely varies from vehicle to vehicle, and we got lucky with ours!
