Fabulous walk. Lots of variation - beach, bush, farmland. Fabulous accommodation, lunch shelters and places to rest just when you need it. The track times given are more than achievable. Very welcoming hosts and well worth taking up the option of a meal if you can. I would recommend tramping boots if you want to keep your feet dry. There are a few small streams to cross and at the time we did it, some boggy areas due to a wet summer.

Enjoyed two days on this beautiful track. A rich variety of environments, scenery, sights and smells experienced comfortably over the two days. Accommodation cosy and clean and hosts wonderful. We did enjoy perfect weather which afforded the most spectacular views and photo opportunities. Would certainly recommend as a great weekend getaway.

A brilliant trail but I think the elderly owners would be well advised to hand over to the next generation. Cannot fault accommodation and trail. But ... No online booking, no confirmation of dates or amount paid on your receipt, seriously poor track briefing (out dated brochure, and 3 of the 4 parties starting when we did spent 2 unnecessary hours walking through thick fine beach gravel due to poor directions) linen pack booked but not waiting for us. No use turning up early... were told good rooms were saved for international travelers. The only people who did not get lost used an international trail app - Not the alltrails app. I don't want to put you off. Just try and get agreement on your room, updated brochure etc if you want to be assured of what you're getting in to.
