Attention to detail and to residents is amazing so inviting and caring And I expected the food to be lacking but i would have thought was at a hotel with the great hot lunch being served

The Facade is lovely and most of the staff do thier best, BUT my Mothers toenails looked like claws not trimmed for months so were hurting her, thats when Mum complained, Mum has dimentia, the lovely staff did as they are told and put her on the list for the poditrist, still were not cut, brought it up with management, then it got done but not sure why they were left so long. I was visiting from Australia & my sisters didn't realize till Mum complained of the pain. Also elderly people often have painful old injuries or arthritus, very painful, there is no pain management available for my poor Mum, she has to suffer everyday and is labeled unruly when she protects her painful limbs, no anti inflammitries will be offered, also the Doc here doesn't order blood tests for common vit deficiencies eg. B12, Vit D even with a prior history of deficiency, you will need to check your loved one is recieving tests. There is no management of dementia, so that means if your loved ones dimentia progresses they will be required to leave the only home they know which has become Woodcote, in studies done on moving the elderly it has been shown to be very detrimental to thier welbeing. You can check that on Google. This experience with Woodcote has left me feeling very sad and powerless as the Facade must be maintained at all costs and Mum will be transferred to another home regardless of these above issues possibly being the reason for my Mums unhappiness and defensive behaviour.
