Reliance Fire Protection

These company is rude, arrogant and disrespectful including their technician he walk in straight to the hallway of our office by passing the receptionist and grab the cans of fire extinguisher in the kitchen and in the warehouse without our authority and informing us that the landlord send him and even our office is closed they will access it without our permission! Beware they didn't bother to present an ID and even sign in at the reception, We rung their office to complaint to the Manager, however, the person we've spoke too is rude, disrespectful and unprofessional, he hang up on us!

We got Rod out from Reliance to service our out of date extinguisher and hose reel. He was on time and very helpful explaining how to use them and suggested a better location for our extinguisher and moved it at no charge. We have set up a yearly check to keep us up to date where they contact us, saving us having to remember when they are due. Thanks for the great service and see you next year.

We got Reliance fire out to assess our outlet store and warehouse, they came the same day we called and gave us clear concise advice on our requirements at the best price out of the 3 quotes we obtained. The technician was professional, friendly and explained exactly what they would do, what service and equipment they supplied including giving us a basic lesson on how to use the extinguishers. Thanks for the excellent service.

Had a Rod Marsh turn up on our premises this afternoon with no prior contact made saying that his company is the only company that can service our extinguishers. He said he was checking the whole building however; neither me (area/store manager), my company or the landlord was notified about this. I inquired as to who sent him here and he could not give me a straight answer. We do not let any tradie or service on site without prior consent from head office (as per most businesses due to safety concerns) so I was dubious as to what he was doing here. He said he would replace our extinguisher and charge it to my company on the spot however; we have a health and safety officer who has organised this elsewhere. When I mentioned this; he rudely interrupted to tell me that he is the only company who does these checks. Not only this but he was rude to my staff member who informed him to leave a card and we will get back to him as I was on my lunch break. Will not be using this service as we found Rod to be unprofessional and gave false information. UPDATE: had another company check our extinguisher is compliant today and he said it's well within the expiry and he charged half the price that Rod quoted yesterday to check it plus added a sign. Reliance is a scam!
