Harper Campsite

We are completely self contained in a motorhome and found it frustrating to see no camping signs everywhere even when space is available as well as toilets. Final resting place was at Harpers camp site which was very unappealing. Toilet and shed Flat but low lying area. Felt like it was there as a necessity but not welcoming. Investing in some picnic tables and a covered pergola type seating area would be an asset especially for trampers who don't have anywhere else to go.

The camp site was ok, no view of the lake, no shelter, trees, srubs etc. River was good temperature but to fast flowing , not suitable for children or dogs. It was a shame the road was closed so you couldn't drive down to the lake, at least a 15min walk so by the time you got back to camp you wanted to be back at the lake.

Drove up this way and was saddened by the numerous NO CAMPING signs. This was only place to camp and it isn't too inspiring. Tucked in amongst shelter trees (which may be useful!) but not beautiful.

Flood plain with no views of Lake Coleridge, may as well camp in your own backyard
