Great place for family with kids. 93Km from Christchurch, a relatively quick drive down to a tasfully built house and decor. Huge farmland filled with fluffy whites sprawled across rolling hills. Avid cyclist can take up the 22km course within the farm to take in the sights and the weather. Will bring the family for a longer stay next time when I'm in NZ. Highly recommended.

We spent 2 nights in the shearers quarters. We have stayed quite a few times now. Highly recommend close to Mt Hutt, lake Coleridge, lots of fishing, and walking tracks in the area. Lyn is a great host always looks after us and the shearers quarters is a home away from home. Everything you need is there. We will be back again

Great place to relax with a larger group. Loved the spaciousness and the friendly sheep.

A very nice and friendly environment. We were six friends and had the whole cottage for us. The place was tidy and had everything we needed to cook and enjoy a very plesant stay. The fire place is very cozy and efficient to warm up the whole cottage. There are four bedroom. One has it's own ensuite bathroom. There are two more bathrooms in the night area. We will go back again without any hesitation.
