Absolutely amazing place to stay we enjoyed an excellent night at Station Cottage while riding the Alps to Ocean. The meal was outstanding and delicious, Julia had prepared the steak and salmon with all the trimmings. The breakfast was generous and gave good variety and the packed lunches were divine. The view up the lake towards Mt Cook was picture perfect.

We stayed in Pine Cottage for a couple of nights a few years ago. Beautiful mesmerizing blue water views is the best reason for staying at this cottage. Quaint original style inside with nice outside area if the weather is not too cold or wet. Wood fireplace makes it feel very cozy. Plenty of room. It's obviously not a 5 star hotel but that's not why you'd stay here, its the 5 star view and the peace and quiet that you are here for! Food & drinks: self catering, plenty of fridge space and utensils etc.
