Silver River Stargazing

Absolutely amazing experience! Great and knowledgeable guide Sam and driver Steve was also lovely! We were lucky enough to be there during the aurora and had amazing photos taken with their professional camera. We were taken up in a small group and the guide was very open to questions. They also gave us some great coats for the cold! Would strongly recommend to anyone traveling through!

Joining the tour of sliver river was the highlight of our weekend getaway. Steve is friendly and welcoming, Sam is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and he goes beyond his job to share his knowledge of the universe to us in a simple way! The photo that Sam taken for us under the milkyway that we will treasure forever;) this tour worth as many star as the universe Kai pai! great mahi

I would highly reccomend booking a Stargazing Tour with Silver River. Sam, our Tour Guide, was incredibly informative and able to provide lots of knowledge regardless of how much you knew about Astronomy. They also provide a fantastic photo for you underneath the stars. My only reccomendation would be if Sam was able to take one or two photos of the sky itself (without people in it) to be able to have more memories from the evening. The views of the stars were absolutely incredible, and it is not something I would miss when visiting Tekapo
