Green Parrot Bar & Grill

Good on the owners for accommodating us 5 minutes before closing. I had a home made burger and it was the real thing . The green parrot was all about the owners and their positive response. Attitude goes along way these days. Great food too. Vote with your wallet at The Green Parrot

We stayed in Methven overnight. The first place we stopped to check out for dinner was the Green Parrot. It was disappointing. The middle age woman, with short grey hair, servicing the front of the house was so rude and aggressive with her approach when we arrived. Maybe it was her monthly period day. We will never go there again. We do not recommend the Green Parrot Bar & Grill to anyone. We walked out and we went to the Thai Restaurant just across the road from them. The Thai Restaurants service was prompt, friendly, and pleasant, and the food was delicious and mouthwatering too. We were delighted that we chose them. We favorably recommend the Thai restaurant instead of the Green Parrot.

Stopped in earlier and it smelled so delicious we had to go back. We weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, as was the service by the young man behind the bar. Everyone, including other local patrons, were quite pleasant. Parking: Easy to park out front.
