After a complimentary wine tasting (every wine we tasted was delicious and unique), we sat down to lunch at the restaurant. What an experience! Every dish we ordered blew us away - the flavours were simple and highlighted the beautiful local produce. Each dish was beautifully presented and crafted with skill.
We were shown to our room - which was well presented and comfortable. After 5pm when the restaurant closed, we had the whole place to ourselves. It was peaceful wandering through the vines and taking the provided bicycles for a leisurely ride around the property. The sunset was gorgeous.
The continental breakfast was lovely with simple bread, spreads, and granola. To finish it off, we were greeted in the morning by a very friendly dog - lovely.
