Awesome community facility and service. Only $45 a year for full membership privileges, including access to donated materials, mentoring and use of machines and tools. Full woodwork and metalshops, extension being built soon too. Open at hours to suit both retired and working men. Ladies night Tuesday 7-9. They do good community charity work too if you don't have your own project on. I love coming here, from Rangiora.

Well resourced, but retired locals take over the joint and don't make room for others.
