My family and I are greeted by Sue, who is warm and approachable, when we arrive. We even have a lovely chat over a cup of tea and biscuits! The rooms are spacious, well-maintained and well-furnished. To sum up with one word: fantastic. There is an interesting selection of books in the lounge to browse through, including some real kiwi classics. Superb! Breakfast is hearty and sumptuous, which is prepared by Sue herself. She makes us feel welcome, and frankly speaking, it really is a home away from home. St. Itas Guesthouse is a really hidden gem and there, I would recommend it to anyone!

Clean, comfortable, budget! The location is close to the metro, I liked everything. Wonderful staff, close to the metro, wonderful buffet (children eat for free), spacious suite with a kettle, kitchenware and very budget. We were pleasantly surprised by the number and attitude of the staff. You can ask for a late check-out and check-in, which is very reasonable in cost and important for families with children. The railway station is approximately half an hour away by metro; you can catch the hotel before the metro closes if the train arrives at about 12 at night. Behind the hotel there is a petting zoo and other activities for children (approximately 10 minutes walk)
