NZ Post Shop Merivale Central

This a WONDERFUL postshop!!!! So much more than a post office it's HEAVEN.

Regarding the person introducing himself as Ash Parris behind the counter of Merivale Post Shop, Merivale, Christchurch, Canterbury. Dear NZ Post, This person was extremely rude, condescending, incapable of listening, and providing answers on questions which he did not even allow to be asked. He spoke over the top of me, without allowing me to ask my questions, and when asked if he would give me the opportunity to ask the questions I wanted to ask regarding the prepaid postage of a parcel overseas, he stated that I could take the parcel, walk out the door and go elsewhere. Elsewhere is where I will go and get the help and advice I require, however this person does not do the NZ Post brand any favours. He is extremely rude, and if I didn't know any better, I would say racist. Go anywhere else, do not waste your time or give this business - who clearly is an incapable contractor to NZ Post, and thinks extremely highly of himself - the time of day These comments have also been submitted via the NZ Post Feedback page.

The owner is one of the rudest, least helpful individuals I have ever encounted in retail - avoid the place like the plague!

I drive past 3 other post shops to get to these guys, always friendly and the service goes beyond your average store. Their Suggestions have Saved me heaps on packaging costs, and they even helped with reboxing my parcel at the counter. Support this shop if you're sending anything.
