        Decent camping site for vehicles (not for tents). Just don't expect much. It's a parking lot overlooking the Timaru harbour. Portaloo available over the hedge and flushing toilet about 250m away at Caledonian ground (there are signs and pathway from the parking lot). Visited in January. We had a quiet night. We found a fur seal napping by the beach and kept our distance. There are warning signs all around as the cliffs are eroding.
