        We stayed here for 4 nights, on our way back up the South Island. It was longer than we intended, but we had trouble with our truck. The camp owner found a helpful mechanic (who came out on a Sunday!), and got us under way as soon as was possible. The campsite is very nice. We tented for 3 nights, and stayed in a cabin for the last night as the rain came in. Lovely cabin, comfortable, impeccably clean, roomy for 3 people, and handy to a common kitchen area. Kitchen and shower blocks very clean, and with extra plates, pots etc if you run out. PaknSave is a short walk away. There are two friendly camp cats, and a marauding Norwegian Forest cat called Stig who lives in the street behind the camp and he will steal your shoes and anything else you leave outside, so beware!
