Timaru hospital

I was traveling for work, only in Timaru for a day, I fell over at work and broke my ankle, the team at Timaru emergency room were amazing!!! There process was efficient and the staff were so kind and caring, I felt extremely well looked after, I was in and out of the hospital in only 5 and 1/2 hours, in which time I had two X-rays and had a team of four to manipulate my foot into a cast. I was so well looked after! And so quickly! The new facilities at the hospital were also amazing! Such a good experience!

The is a great community hospital, efficient staff and average wait times.

I live in Geraldine. We now go to Ashburton or Christchurch if and when required as the staff here (especially the triage nurse we had on a Saturday night) was awful. Not worth the hassle going here. The place needs to be shut down. They didnt take my complaint seriously and sent an email with all these facts that were complete lies. Extremely disappointing- Could take them to court over it but its not worth it- just dont go here. This was based on care for my 14 month old son who was severely dehydrated. We ended up in Christchurch and he was seen to and treated ASAP. I recommend going to Christchurch if you can. Will do my best to avoid this place by all means.

Had my delivery here 2x and the service was fantastic.. From check ups to CS surgeries to follow up checks they did a great job.. Massive thanks to every staff for their service..
