        Really glad I decided to give this a go. Fantastic Sensei and a great, supportive group of people to train with. Haven't felt as healthy as I do now in a long time.

        My kids and myself have been and still are training with Sensei Lizelle. We all enjoy the time we have at the dojo where we are not only taught karate but also the technical aspect of what we are doing. Nothing in life is easy, but if we keep at it and put the effort into it, we will get there. Having Sensei Karl (Chief Instructor of JKA NZ) coming to our dojo at least 3 times a year is such a bonus for us.

        Highly recommend JKA Timaru Karate for all age groups. Especially for young ones to develop focus and concentration abilities. Sensei Lizelle is an amazing teacher, mentor and the entire team at JKA Timaru are very encouraging.
