        We stayed in a campervan in the dog friendly section above the office block with a stunning view of Lake Tekapo and the hills behind it. Flat roomy parking spots and a facilities block just for doggy owners. Toilets and showers and kitchen super clean. Showers 6 mins free and fabulous. Gale force winds overnight which made the van rock quite a bit but that's just the joys of NZ weather. Staff lovely and friendly. Beautiful spot and shops/cafes only 1km along the lakefront.

        There was not hot water during our stay in one of the baches because they did not check or fill the gas tanks prior to our arrival. We were uncomfortable not being able to shower, wash dishes or give our baby a bath during our trip. When we notified reception they took no responsibility for this which was very upsetting. We did not receive all of what we paid for. The bach was ok except for the lack of hot water which meant our stay was uncomfortable.
