Awesome old cemetery. This is like a cemetery like from a film. Unfortunately a lot of the cenotaphs and large stones fell I would assume after the chch earthquake but it is still impressive. There are some historic graves like Katherine Mansfield and early settlers to Christchurch. There are seats at the back if you want. The paths are narrow and stones line up against the buildings around the yard. Lots of Rosemary and lavender has been planted on Graves which stand for remembrance they bring bees and smell lovely. There is Jasmine, Oaks, and Miniature roses too. I wish modern cemeteries let you plant trees in Graves today. It is well worth a wander and look through the Graves.
