Maxine's Hair Design

Ive been going to Maxines a number of years and happy with the job she does. Ive seen her Interact with all types of people and was surprised that sue Ross had put a bad review on about herself being deaf and disabled. Clearly maxine hasnt Encountered that technology before. And I would have done the same by thinking it was a prank call or a scam. Maybe you should have gotta someone like she said to call on your behalf. Then it would have been Understandable. So giving her a review was Unnecessary it was clearly not her fault that she didnt know what was happening on the other end of the phone. Hopefully you will have some Decency to remove that post and move on. Service: Hairstyling

I am disabled. Including being deaf and unable to speak. I use an electronic voice. I am considered an expert in its use. I have years of experience on how to introduce myself on the phone so that people get what they are dealing with. I usually give people a 2nd chance & ring back when they hang up on me. I rang 4 Person could not have been more rude including telling me to 'get a real job' and my favourite 'use a REAL voice' (!!?!). THEN threatened to call the police. Very obviously not a good listener and abusive with it. Clearly someone I would not recommend especially not for children or elderly. I'd leave a negative score if I could. I will be spreading this experience far and wide in the local community after I have stopped crying . Owner's reply speaks for itself. Here it is . . . Hi Sue , I thought you were a prank caller its very unfair you have given me a negative review, when I answered it at first it was quiet which means a prank call or scammer , I couldn't hear you at all well with your electronic voice , could you not get someone else to do the call for you , I'm not at all a rude person to genuine people, very sorry if you are disabled, but it certainly sounded like a prank call these happens all the time , your welcome to ring again or get someone else to ring sorry you feel this way , but please understand my side, alot of businesses put up with scammers & prank calls & is upsetting for us . Sue I have a good clientele & they know me well , it's a shame you won't call back & a shame you didn't first get a friend to call me & warn me that you were going to ring , but very unfair that you have given me this bad review, when clearly you sounded like a prank caller Seriously!?! I have been unable to speak for 15 years. i have NEVER needed anyone to call on my behalf since I got my electrolarynx. Unfair??? A pity I didn't ring back!!! She had my number and threatened to call the police when I did just that???. And why would I even want to put myself in a toxic environment like that? She had her 4 chances. Nothing but excuses, blaming me!?!? and a pathetic sorry for MY feelings but not her behaviour. NO responsibility, NO empathy. So I'm adding disabled to list of people who should not consider supporting this business. I rest my case.
