Its been a journey In May 2022 we chose to shop with Harrison and Bloy after dealing with a lovely salesperson on the shop floor. We picked all the items for our new bathroom, accepted the quote and all seemed well. We had renovations starting in July and were assured the items would be on time. We were alerted in June that one of the items was running late, that the toilet was now not due in until November and the vanity we had ordered was the incorrect model and the one we wanted was more expensive. We made the timing of the late item work, removed the toilet from our order and accepted the change of vanity price (accepting the new quote). When all the items had finally arrived, one of them was wrong. Once again we happily made do, drove to the store and had the item swapped for the correct one. Its worth noting that Harrison and Bloy dont seem to make much of an effort to reach out to customers should any issues occur during the delivery phase. I had to make numerous calls to follow up on the status of my order once I suspected something was wrong. At this point the bathroom was completed in early July as planned and we thought everything was all done. Nope, we were very wrong. Once we received the invoice, it was roughly $800 more than the quote we had accepted. After back and forth it turned out that there was a mistake on the quote (which had been reviewed and accepted twice), which meant that the bath liner was not included in the final price. We hadnt thought anything of it, as we thought the bath liner came with the bath. This resulted in a ~$800 discrepancy. A manager called me in September to briefly discuss the issue, themself saying How did the quote get created twice with that mistake on it. I made it clear that I should not have to pay for a subtle mistake Harrison and Bloy made on a quote, and that I was only going to pay the price on the accepted quote. After this call, I thought hed take care of it. Nope. Its now March 2023, and Harrison and Bloy have still not modified the invoice or collected any payment. I can only assume that individual non-business customers mean so little to them that its not even worth their time of day to sort out an invoicing issue that happened almost a year ago. Ill continue to wait for them to resolve the matter, but Ill be telling everyone I know to avoid them like the plague going forward.

Sales are friendly, but unacceptable refund policy. Not recommended at all. First, they order everything from other suppliers, and once you order, you don't have the right to get a full refund, even if the items have not arrived in Christchurch yet. I had to pick up everything from the warehouse and bring them back to the shop for a refund, which wasted my time. I refunded one shower rail and one heated towel, and they charged nearly a $200 stocking fee (they hadn't told me the policy before I made the payment). Secondly, I purchased basins from them, and the sales recommended bottle traps to me, which suppose to fit. Eventually, three bottle traps were the wrong size. I had to bring them back, try to refund them, and purchase three bottle traps from another company because they didn't have anything in the store. Finally, the most unacceptable thing is they refused to refund me anything because being unable to install is my problem, not the suppliers' problems. I was speak-less. I purchased everything (nearly $30k) in your store, and nothing is made to order. It's unacceptable, like you bought jeans for your kids and it's too small to fit in, and the jeans store refuses to refund them because there is nothing wrong with the jeans. The problem is your kid is too big to fit the jeans. As a customer, I better purchase from your suppliers directly next time, it's the same price, and I don't have to be disappointed. NO recommended, NO recommended, NO recommended.
