Highlands farmstay

A very lovely farmstay and thankful for Angela and Dannys hospitality. Their animals displayed the same hospitality. The chickens came right up to us when we drove into the compound, with the Alpacas coming as close to the fence to us as possible. Theres also Jess the dog too. Feed is provided in the units for us to get up close with the animals too. We booked the Merino unit which has 2 bedroom. Very comfortable space and well designed. The windows in the living room are well positioned the capture the scenery outside. There are 2 hot tubs outside positioned to face the south. We came a few days after the aurora tsunami and managed to catch the remnant of the aurora just from the door and porch after sunsets. A Milky Way is just above the house too. Great for star gazing.

We had an incredible stay in the Damara Hut. The pre-arrival instructions were excellent, the space is used very well, has everything needed for cooking a meal, and the outdoor tubs for stargazing are incredible. The encouraged interaction with the farm animals is a fantastic touch as well. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area!

Lovely place I had more fun here than Queenstown feeding animals and quiet time. Owner is Lovely even came down to exchange the gas bottle in the middle of the night. Very recommended
