I have to admit I wasnt expecting too much as we were trying to book accommodations closer to Mount Cook but what a delight! Warmly greeted with a bottle of milk for morning coffee; huge room with big bath, comfortable bed and outdoor sitting area. Easy walk to town center with a few restaurant choices. How charming! We would definitely stay again.
