Creative Photography Workshops - Jackie Ranken & Mike Langford

I have been going to Mike and Jackie's workshops and photography safaris for around 8 or 9 years. They are simply great! I love being immersed in the special locations with people who are passionate about photography Their patience and encouragement has taken me from a beginner to a much higher level. Their small groups allow individual attention, and they are keen to share their knowledge, and revel in everyone's achievements. I have formed some very special friendships with people I have met on the trips, and that includes Jackie and Mike

Attending Jackie and Mikes Creative Photography workshops is one of the best things I have ever done. Each workshop provides a full package of incredible scenery (they know all the secret spots in so many locations), cool people (I have met some new best friends), delicious food and of course photography. Both Jackie and Mike are both brilliant photographers who complement each other in their skill and artist approach. I have attended several workshops now and every time regardless of the weather or circumstances, they are both so patient, generous and humble in their endless offerings of knowledge. I have learnt and continue to learn so much. No matter how much experience you have you will learn heaps. The size of the group provides plenty of opportunity for one-to-one tuition and the feedback on the shots you take you is always supportive and constructive they will also encourage you to try something new and offer appropriate challenges for your ability. There are always people with a range of experience on the courses and Jackie and Mike manage to tailor the group tuition to meet everyones needs. On top of all this, they are generous, funny and kind. I highly recommend these workshops and cant wait until I can go on another one.

This was a really exciting trip, I had some high expectations being one of the great areas on the west coast for photography - NZ at its best. I was not disappointed , loved every minute, with the Kotuku nesting grounds being a highlight. Jackie and Mike always give their time, knowledge and endless patience in a humble and inspiring manner. I have done several trips with them and can safely say it has improved my photography significantly. Thanks to them I highly recommend no matter what your photography level
