As a parking spot its really nice. There is water, power, and the bathroom is upstairs in the accommodation block. This accomm block is quite tired, but clean.
You are right next to the hotel so a visit to the bar for a drink is not to be missed.
Across the road is a very good cafe, with home cooked food. Its not open at night yet but working towards it.
There is a nice DOC walk in the hills across the road.
