Kahikatea Retreat - Cristchurch Holiday Homes

We came to Kahikatea Retreat for a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life, and came away feeling relaxed, refreshed and incredibly grateful. Gay and Ian have created an welcoming environment that has the comfort of a farm-style cottage with a truly luxurious ambience. We were most taken by the peace and tranquility. Surrounded by native trees and rolling farmland, with magnificent views to Wainui Bay and the Akaroa heads, all you can hear is the gentle sounds of native birds and the nearby steam. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the gas fire took the edge off the Autumn chill at night.
