Initial lawns in our brand new house in December 2021 were never correctly laid, the tank had a horrible orange color spewing out and workers on the day admitted it shouldn't be like that and smelt horrible because the boss (Glenn) didn't clean it. Patchy and thin coverage (we have had previous hydroseed lawn to much better standard so know what it should look like). Temporary irrigation was faulty and provided in sufficient coverage of lawns, owner realised this several weeks later and fixed the timers at least. Final product had 'bald' patches scattered throughout lawn. Contacted Touchstone homes (who provided Styxx) on 1st Feb to correct the issues which also included a gate being replaced( they built our fences too) with the wrong replacement gate after the initial one was scrated and had holes in it ,and a shody short sighted attempt to attach the now smaller gate, this was done without advising us the homeowners and also without prior permission to come onto the property and do while we were here. Fast forward 2 months of this battle and the orginal bald spots from the sparce laying of seed are now being blammed on us by both Styxx (Elly, wife and other owner I presume to Glenn) and Touchstone owner Andrew, both of whom again entered my property without prior permission or myle being there. Unprofessional services, and very poor workmanship from Styxx. Avoid and if your build company uses them, ask to use another! I had wanted to sort this out with the companies privately but now my hand has been forced and my patience gone. UPDATE in response to owner: In your first contact with me today you trespassed on my property without an appointment made to come with me made prior, you then harrassed my tennent and it was after they called me I knew you had been at my property, (So I would not try and take a high road on how I reacted)so no, until i confronted you I have not had any show of you working with us or any communication. I have had to follow up constantly with Andrew to get this looked at. As I mentioned to Andrew, I am very happy to be proved wrong if you fertilising the lawn makes the bald patches that have been their constantly (including when your temporary irrigation was set up) grow grass, but your unprofessional services and poor service are all valid experience by me, and a review is exactly that, a review of my experience with you. You were adimit to blame your customer for wrong doings rather than admitting fault and trying for a resolution (until after that incident). I am not slandering your business, I am aware of information on your practices that would be slander but choose to keep it to relevant facts only (ask Glenn about his first call to me and what he said about who he thought I would be)I will mention again that your initial care of the lawn was not sufficient, Glenn contacted me a week after to see if it was working okay and had to come and fix it on 2 occassions, first as it was not watering enough, second it was watering too much. Our care of the lawn afterwards has been the best we could provide, several deep waters a week, mowing regular intervals at recommended length and not scalping the lawn. It was the initial day zero installation and aftercare that lacked and has lead to the snowball of this problem. Services: Hydroseeding, Lawn care, Grass seeding
