Finlay is the ultimate professional, and was able to ensure we enjoyed the excitement of our first build while sticking to a tight project management schedule and maintaining quality and cost control throughout. Having never built before, it gave us confidence to to have Finlay project manage our build like it was his own. Finlay could have just built what we'd asked for according to the plan but he went out of his way to understand what we were trying to achieve and make recommendations to us that he thought would suit us best. While he found plenty of cost-efficiencies, he also wasn't shy to suggest where he considered it good value to spend a little more on product, a sub-contractor or idea to do with design. He didn't have a large team and it was clearly evident he wants to control the quality of his work, with an excellent eye for detail and workmanship. I would happily recommend Finlay to build again.

Highly recommend the Hunter Homes team. They were incredibly hardworking, professional and efficient. Good communication throughout the renovation process. Finlay gave useful and practical advice when needed and the work that was completed is of a very high standard.

Finlay and the Hunter Homes team have recently completed a new garage/foundation remediation for us on a house we were doing in Cashmere. The project was difficult as the as is where is houses foundation required underpinning by the garage foundation to rectify the existing problem caused by the quakes and then an architectural designed garage was built in front of the house as its key feature and entrance way. Finlay and his team have done a fantastic job with the build including excellent management of the budget and schedule. The Hunter Homes team were courteous and professional throughout the project and the communication was excellent. The quality of build, was exemplary resulting in a record price been achieved at auction when the property was sold recently. I have no hesitation in recommending Hunter Homes Builders to anyone considering a building project. Peter Davies
