The worst doctors in the country - getting an appointment here is like pulling teeth, the receptionists are extremely rude and have absolutely no empathy, completely unreliable. DO NOT go here

website says close at 5pm however answerphone says its after hours which doesn't seem right. I need to talk to someone re appointment ASAP

Tried to get an appointment for my 3wk old with my own medical centre. Was told by them to call Te Whare Hapara as they are the after hours doctor and would see my baby. Rang them and was told by the registered nurse who was working that afternoon/evening that they wouldnt see him because he isnt one of their patients and would be better off taking them to ED. I wouldve been happy to pay the casual fee if my baby had been seen by them. I understand that times are tough with a shortage of doctors/nurses but that is no excuse to leave someone who has no medical experience to their own without even bothering to give any sort of medical advice apart from Go to ED.
