So we'd been out ticking a list of jobs one day when the puku started sending signals to the brain. So on our waka we're looking for a Kai & we decided on That Hangi Place. Well whanau talk about tino pai ataahua, best kai place in town. If my photos came out they may look simple, but let me tell you - it would be hard to match. Couldn't eat it all, beautiful tasting reasonably priced, atmosphere warm & whanau like. Nga mihi 'that hangi place' we'll be back. Rangi & Julie-Anne

Tastes like sht compared to what it used to be. SLACK. 1 hour after opening and there is only 4 reheated options to choose from and none of them tasted any good. They don't answer their phones, they don't reply to messages. Bullsht. Never returning here or recommending. **Waited for hours on the public holiday (said they were open online) watching them fk around in the kitchen before they said they weren't opening that day, prior to that they didn't answer the phone or reply to any messages. Disappointed and fkd off.
