We were travelling from Palmy to Te Araroa and needed somewhere warm and spacious to stay on the way. This was perfect. The whole place is clean, warm and has your very basics provided. A huge table meant we could share meals with our whole group. Loads of seating and a TV that gets most channels. Very peaceful, very quiet. The beds are extremely comfortable! Loads of firewood on site and Boris the pig is right there to take care of all your scraps. We appreciate the addition of WIFI over recent years. Beware, the roads to get here are not well taken care of in recent years and you need to be careful of the massive pot holes.
