Highly recommend this 4-hour return walk through a spectacular NZ forest. No hills or steep climbs - a relatively even gradient throughout. A couple of wet patches so best avoid wearing your new white sneakers. A beautiful walk not to be missed.

This bush has the best and most varied bird song I have experienced anywhere in mainland NZ and this was in the middle of the day. Lovely easy track with some magnificent rimu and Miro.

Great bush walk, 6km each way leading to the Motu Falls. Very easy walk, no hills to climb and it's almost entirely under bush cover so is a great summer walk. There are a few streams which cross the path, most are easy to step over, however after rain there is one crossing which may require getting your feet wet
