Mayfair Kindergarten

Love this kindergarten, staff are beautiful, outside area is stunning, indoor area is great!

Mayfair Kindergarten has become an extension of our whanau. Our youngest of 4 attends this early childhood kura and her teachers are so welcoming, caring and I believe are the best at what they do. We love that our little girl is encouraged to take safe, calculated risks in their incredibly outdoor space which has given her a confidence that we did not see with our older children. We also love that matauranga maori is intentionally woven into the culture of this Kindergarten. So grateful for our daughter to be enrolled here

Kia ora I was truly happy with sending my daughter to Mayfair Kindergarten She felt welcomed from day one and learned so much and over her 3 years there and was always excited to go every day. Whanau/Family friendly staff All are amazing and supporting my daughter's needs as she strived to learn more and found herself over her time there. She took it alil hard leaving as she made so many good friends and was very close to all of her teachers. So many good memories from Disco PJ day with breakfast to celebrating both Matariki and Christmas to name a few awesome times Highly Recommend any parent looking at taking there child/children there. All 6 of my kids had the pleasure of going through Mayfair Kindy. The Kindy offers many different learning options for the tamariki from gardening to giving service to the park next door by picking up trash (using gloves and thoroughly washing hands after of course). What an awesome way of teaching our tamariki by exposing them to small (or big) acts of service. The teachers are always very involved and make sure to keep parents up to date with their childs successes and also mishaps that could occur. The staff make sure to involve the families in learning and teaching by exposing the tamariki to as many different cultural experiences and having whanau come in to perform and/or perform cultural numbers. New tamariki starting Mayfair Kindy are welcomed with a powhiri and all children and staff are involved. It is beautiful to see our tamariki immersed in the Mori culture from a young age. The grounds of Mayfair kindy are absolutely beautiful. A large sand pit, plenty of sand toys, swings, monkey bars, basketball hoop, balls, every crafty item you can think of , books, train sets, puppets, costumes, just everything. Theres also a quiet reading nook for tamariki and even families where they can enjoy their childs learning progress folder. There are many more things I can say about how much I love this kindergarten and how much the kindergarten and staff offer your child and the whanau but instead, you should go a see if for yourself! 10/10
