        The Hastings Rockshop used to be run by nice, friendly, dependable, and knowledgeable people. What a shame it now has staff who cannot show a friendly face and are uninterested in going the extramile. I ordered an item that was not in stock. I had to convince, by pointing it out on their website, that the Rockshop actually sold this item. Then I was told that it would take two weeks for this itemto arrive from New Plymouth to Hastings. Yes, I could have ordered online, but why when there is a local shop? I have now been waiting for over four weeks. Forget it Rockshop. That was my last visit. There is another music shop next door call Music Works which gives amazing service.

        I Was very disappointed with the attitude of one of the staff members after I presented a mask exception the larger less attractive male replied with grunting and exaggerated shoulder movement .I felt very uncomfortable and left the store I then went into music work and received amazing service .if you do not have people skills then retail is not the right position for you maybe give politics a try
