      • An amazing cottage with great views. It is also worth going to the NW saddle from the cottage to be displayed on Mount Ruapehu. A small north of the cottage offers great views. It's two hours walking to the cottage. Take a small turn to see a triple hut down. It takes two-hour hiking to three hours from the parking lot to reach the cottage. There was snow when I arrived at the end of May and the atmosphere was cool. A wonderful place to watch the sunrise. It's a good idea to rise when there is daylight because the corridor does not contain many marks at first, it is easy to be lost. The way to the top is somewhat simple as soon as you find the road.
