Go Bus Transport Ltd - Hastings Depot

Sometimes catch the Hastings to Napier late afternoon ..and have always found the drivers to be the nicest people ..waiting for people running to the bus, cloth to wipe foggy windows, checking that everyone is on the bus who needs to be etc etc..top service.

Lots of short notice cancellations. If you have somewhere to be at a specific time, you should keep your options open. At the end of the day, we have jobs and appointments to attend to. Also, the cancellations are on facebook so if you are not on social media, too bad for you. They write on their website that they have written about the cancellations on facebook. Why not write about the cancellation on the website while you are there ??? I am giving 2 stars instead of nothing, because of how nice the drivers are when the bus is running.

good prices but something for people to know if they have a full bus they will not stop unless someone is getting off so those who are complaining about buses not stopping you either did not signal them or they were full

Hope to see the service improve. My son catches Number 20 run to and from school in Hastings. If the bus isn't late, it doesn't come at all. When I rang through to GoBus to see if there were any problems was told no issues with the Logan Park bus. Luckily I had lived in Dunedin so knew they had given me the wrong info. When asking if the could Hastings Boys High bus (which is a GoBus) was advised yes. When I checked with the high school they said no. It made no difference as the driver refused to stop anyway when we tried to get him on. Overloaded during school times my 10 year old usually has to stand during the the trip or has to catch the next bus which will also be overloaded too. He also complains that people are vaping on the bus and the driver does nothing about it. Hopefully they actually read this and attempt to do something with it
