        The track has been built/ fully funded and maintained by the volunteers of Hawkes Bay BMX club. The Hawkes Bay BMX club lease the land from the city council. No rate/tax payer money was used. The club reserve the right to close the track for maintenance, training and racing. During summer Training is Monday nights. Racing Wednesday. Winter racing is on Sundays. Please respect the track surface as a lot of volunteer hours go into maintaining it.

        Great park overall but there are many people walking their dogs off leash.The park is a dog on-leash park.Hopefully the council will adress this before a child getts mauled
