        This is not a "Clever Charging Station" because New Zealand is not in Denmark. This is a Unison-owned 50kW ABB Terra 53 public EV charger subsidised by the Napier City Council. There are Type 2 CCS, Type 2 AC and Chademo tethered cables with two parking spaces. Charging costs a fixed NZ$0.40 per kWh but parking is free while charging and there is currently no time limit, but please don't abuse that privilege. It's a very convenient and safe spot to charge your EV. Be aware that if you are charging on the Type 2 AC and another EV starts DC charging, your charge rate may drop substantially and will not return to the prior rate after the other EV leaves.
