Spacious and comfy room, clean linen and towels, close to city centre, restaurants and bech, however: - No plug to utilise bath tub or sinks; - Previous guest rubbish left in bathroom; - Used bar of soap complete with attached hairs left in shower; - Hot room on entry, probably due to the next point; and - Broken AC unit that only works on hot setting.

Front desk attendant told us upon arrival she was clearing out at 6pm (then no one around in the morning, we're talking 10am. Just cleaning staff somewhere - kind of creepy as no lights on in lobby) I know the township is struggling post-Gabrielle but still toilet seat about to come off the bowl, and mattress or its protector sounded like you were lying in corn flakes every time someone moved. Walkability: Location good for fringe of main streets.

We enjoyed a two night stay at Expressotel. Everything about the hotel was perfect from the greeting by Arlene, email correspondence with Graeme, the tasteful dcor, clean, comfortable, spacious room and surprise Happy Birthday bubbles complimentary in our room were an especially nice and appreciated touch. We had a fabulous view over the park and the location of the property being so accessible for walking all around town. I highly recommend this property and will stay again and again. Thanks team!
