Tkaro Trails Cycle Tour Hawke's Bay

Had a great time! Friendly, helpful staff. The e-bikes were great, plenty of battery for the whole day. There are excellent cycle trails all around and we were given a map and advice to help us on our way.

Takaro Trails Cycle Tour is an incredible experience. Napier is such a beautiful place, with the many wineries in the vicinity and being so flat it is easy to get around. Biking really lets you take in a full appreciation of Napier's coastline. The team at Takaro made the whole process easy from where to get on, the trail to take and recommended paths. A few recommendations if you were doing the wine trail: -upgrading to the e-bike option, made the ride very easy. -book in lunches/tastings at the 3 wineries (as they get very full) AND leave yourself some realistic times to to them as most of the biking is done getting to the wineries (they are all 10mins away from eachother). -definitely opt for the shuttle pick up at the end so you can really unwind. Rob was great! Thanks team, would definitely recommend and have already bought as an experience for others. Very underrated!

Fabulous experience from beginning to end. Picked up on time from our motel and taken to Black Barn to get our bikes. Great ebikes, instructions and friendly, helpful service. Thanks for suggesting we pre-book wine tastings and lunch as everything was fully booked out over Easter. Highly recommend this very professional, helpful and friendly company.

This was our second visit to the Hawkes Bay and again booked our cycling trips with Takaro Trails, communication is always fantastic , very accommodating , bikes are super comfortable and conveniently located to our accommodation in Ahuriri. A fantastic day out with all the details taken care of by the team at Takaro. Highly recommended !
